February 2006 After Matthew's grandmother died in November 2005, our family didn't have an opportunity to hold a memorial service at the time. After she was cremated, we planned a memorial service in Charlotte for February 4th, 2006. This served as a family reunion of sorts as Matthew had not seen some of his cousins in over fifteen years.

February 2006 After winning Super Bowl XL, Heather and I celebrated with 250,000 other fans during a victory parade for our Steelers on February 7, 2006.

August 2006 Matthew attended the national convention of his fraternity, Theta Tau, at the Hilton at Lake Buena Vista, Florida. We took the opportunity to visit a few of the places that Matthew experienced when he worked at Disney in 1996.
